It was always going to be difficult to create a short list of the best hotels in Liverpool. There are simply so many to choose from. But alas we managed it and we hope you find this list helpful.

Since the cities rebirth in the early 1990’s Liverpool has become almost unrecognizable and we mean this is a good way. This, believe it or not, is the only Beatles themed hotel in the world. The Hard Day’s Night Hotel boasts five stars and is located right in the city centre on North John Street. It is named after the Beatles film, album and song, A Hard Day’s Night. The hotel opened in February 2008 during Liverpool’s reign as European Capital of Culture.

The hotel has 110 rooms including the famous McCartney and Lennon suites. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants to enjoy. These include Blakes Restaurant, Bar Four, The Lounge & Bar and the Live Lounge.

The Grade II listed Central Buildings that are host to the hotel were designed by Thomas C Clarke and first built in 1884. All guestrooms are decorated with Beatles artwork and feature Hypnos beds and TVs with satellite channels. Free WiFi access is also provided for both business and leisure guests.
